Dave Bakula joins Nielsen Music

Dave Bakula has joined the Nielsen Co. as senior vp analytics and client relations for Nielsen Music. He will lead Nielsen Music's efforts in expanding its analytic capabilities, products and services.
"Dave will work directly with major-label clients to assure that Nielsen Music is continually delivering relevant," Nielsen Music president Rob Sisco said. "He will volunteer solution-based services as our clients navigate the unfathomed changes pickings place in the global recorded music industry."
Bakula exhausted the past eight years at Universal Music Distribution, where he helped to form the Business Analysis Group. He headed the group for the yesteryear two age as vp business analysis.
Before Universal, Bakula managed inventory analytic thinking for the Musicland Group.
